Lincoln Nautilus: Parking Aid - Vehicles With: Rear Parking Aid / Front Parking Aid Sensor. Removal and Installation

Removal

NOTE: This procedure can be used for all locations of the component.

  1. Remove the front bumper cover.
    Refer to: Front Bumper Cover (501-19 Bumpers, Removal and Installation).

  1. Remove the front parking aid sensor.
    1. Disconnect the front parking aid sensor electrical connector.
    1. Release the tabs.
    1. Remove the front parking aid sensor from the bracket.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  1. Carry out the azimuth and elevation system checks.
    Refer to: Azimuth System Check (413-13A Parking Aid - Vehicles With: Rear Parking Aid, General Procedures).

  1. If any sensor fails the checks, diagnose the sensor fault.
