Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

  1. Remove the rear bumper cover.
    Refer to: Rear Bumper Cover (501-19 Bumpers, Removal and Installation).

  1. Remove the lower rear bumper cover.
    1. Remove the rivets.
    1. Release the tabs.
    1. Separate the lower rear bumper cover from the center rear bumper cover.
  1. Disconnect the hands-free liftgate actuation lower sensor electrical connector.
  1. Release the tabs and remove the hands-free liftgate actuation lower sensor.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
