Lincoln Nautilus: Interior Trim and Ornamentation / Liftgate Trim Panel. Removal and Installation
Removal
-
Release the clips and remove the liftgate upper center trim panel.

Release the clips and remove the liftgate grab handle cover.
-
Remove the liftgate grab handle screws.
-
Remove the lower and side liftgate trim panels as an assembly.
-
On both sides.
Release the side liftgate trim panel upper retainer.
-
On both sides.
Release the side liftgate trim panel middle retainer.
-
Release the retainers and remove the side and lower liftgate trim panels as an assembly.
-
If equipped.
Disconnect the power liftgate switch electrical connector.
-
If equipped.
Disconnect the rear closure interior lamp electrical connector.
-
Release the clips and remove the lifgate side trim panels.
Installation
-
Install the liftgate lower trim panel.
-
If equipped.
Connect the rear closure interior lamp electrical connector.
-
If equipped.
Connect the power liftgate switch electrical connector.
-
Install the lower trim panel.
-
Install the liftgate grab handle screws.
-
Install the liftgate grab handle cover.
-
Install the RH and LH liftgate upper side trim panels.
-
Install the liftgate upper center trim panel.
