Lincoln Nautilus: Information and Entertainment System - General Information - Vehicles With: SYNC 4 / Telematics Control Unit (TCU) Module Antenna. Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Remove the LH loadspace trim panel.
    Refer to: Loadspace Trim Panel (501-05) .
  1. Disconnect the TCU antenna coaxial connector.
  1. Remove the nut and the TCU antenna.
    Torque: 49 lb.in (5.5 Nm)

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

    How Does Traction Control Work

    If your vehicle begins to slide, the system applies the brakes to individual wheels and, when needed, reduces power at the same time. If the wheels spin when accelerating on slippery or loose surfaces, the system reduces power in order to increase traction.
