Removal

NOTE: LH side shown, RH side similar.

  1. Remove the liftgate trim panel.
    Refer to: Liftgate Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).
  1. Disconnect the liftgate anti-pinch switch electrical connector.
  1. Remove the retainers.

  1. Remove the liftgate anti-pinch switch.
    1. Remove the rubber grommet and route the electrical connector out of the liftgate.
    1. Remove the liftgate anti-pinch switch.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
