Lincoln Nautilus: Rear Seats / Heated Rear Seat Switch. Removal and Installation
Removal

On both sides.
Release the clips, the pin-type retainer and remove the floor console lower trim panel.

On both sides.
Release the clips and remove the floor console middle trim panel.

Remove the floor console rear trim panel.

On both sides.
Remove the screws.
-
On both sides.
Release the spring retainer.

Disconnect the electrical connector(s).
-
Release the locking tabs and remove the heated rear seat switch.
Installation
-
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Remove the rear seat cushion.
Refer to: Rear Seat Cushion (501-10B Rear Seats, Removal and Installation).
Release the seat cushion cover J-clips...

Using an interior trim tool, release the power fold seat control switch locking tabs...

Rear Occupant Alert System Indicators
Displays when you switch your vehicle off
after the alert conditions are met.
The message displays for a short period of
time. Press Close to acknowledge and
remove the message.

This step is only necessary if the IPMB is being replaced.

Using a diagnostic scan tool, begin the PMI process for the IPMB following the on-screen instructions...

the Tire Mobility Kit sealant. Replace the tire
